Biography

Peter Hall is Professor of Radio Astronomy Engineering and Director (Engineering and Industry Collaboration) of the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy (CIRA). He joined the University in 2008 and his appointment is with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, contributing to the strong cross-disciplinary character of CIRA.

Prior to joining Curtin, Peter was International Project Engineer for the Square Kilometre Array (www.skatelescope.org), leading many aspects of this global project. He retains a strong interest in the international SKA, working closely with colleagues in the Manchester-based SKA Program Development Office. Peter also leads, or serves on, a number of technical, policy and review bodies for SKA programs around the world.
